peeling an egg

Has anyone ever told you that you're peeling an egg wrong? Well, your troubles are over! Because modern science has developed a way so that you can peel your eggs easily and without the fuss and criticism to boot!

The science used in the machine is based on a practical method that is demonstrated here.

So, the second method seems a whole lot faster, so I'm not sure why you'd go through the hassle of having to build a whole device with the wooden box and the plunger and plastic tube and making sure everything is the right size. Well, I guess the first method avoids the whole "is there any residual spit on the egg" question that would invariably pop up using the second method. But really, how many eggs is someone having to peel where it's worth the time and effort to make that machine? And why are they peeling that many eggs? Are they running a catering service, and their clients are ordered dozens and dozens of deviled eggs?

Me, I'm going to continue peeling eggs the wrong way by hand.
